From festivals to national titles

The club's competitive record reached the top of the Campionato Italiano a Squadre. When the sponsor-named Vimar side won the 2007 championship, Marostica reached seven Italian team titles; the commercial label identified that season's team, not the association permanently.

Beside the living-chess pageant

The Partita a Scacchi a personaggi viventi is a biennial theatrical pageant based on Mirko Vucetich's script and presented by Associazione Pro Marostica; it is not part of the club's regular activity. The two institutions remain separate but share the town's public chess landscape: in February 2026 the municipality involved the club in a public simultaneous exhibition and practical demonstrations.

Teaching and keeping the record

In its 2024/25 school project, the club offered programs of six to twelve lessons, from a first encounter with the board to improvement work, with simultaneous games, class tournaments and a possible route into youth competition. Teaching was therefore tied to shared play and a possible competitive pathway.

Keeping the record is another recognizable part of the club's work. Its recurring activity booklets and a 2000 volume on twentieth-century chess in Marostica form a documentary record of club life and local chess history, preserving the trajectory opened by the refoundation.
