A Goyang club that uses the identity of a Korean chess channel for reservable in-person meetings and completed its first FIDE-rated standard event in 2026.

One name across screen and board

The Korean-language chess channel 슥슥이 publishes the club's booking and open-chat links itself. The online channel and the physical room in Goyang use the same name, and the route into the club begins inside the channel's own posts.

The public club page places the Deogyang-gu address beside reservation and KakaoTalk access. An overnight New Year gathering held from 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026 was an early example of that online route leading to activity in the physical club.

From club meetings to standard chess

The club said the venue had been prepared from the outset for both meetings and tournaments. Its first standard event, held on 6 and 7 June 2026, was recorded by FIDE in Goyang with a 60+30 time control.

The tournament confirmed that the same Goyang venue advertised for club meetings could also function as a FIDE-rated playing hall. The club's early identity links an online chess channel, reservable face-to-face meetings, and long-form official play under one name.
