解説
++に普遍的な意味はありません。FIDEの棋譜表記付録では、キングが攻撃され合法な応手がないチェックメイトをの代わりに表せます。
多くの本やサイトでは、2つの駒が同時にキングを攻撃するダブルチェックを++で示します。同じ記号でも資料ごとに意味が異なります。
Standard Algebraic Notation (SAN)はが使う厳密な表記です。SANは任意のチェックに、メイトに#を使い、ダブルチェック専用記号はありません。
